Overview

Smart Random Reminder is designed to work locally on your Android device. The app stores your reminders and notification settings on your device so it can schedule reminders for you.

What data the app stores

How the data is used

Your data is used only to display reminders in the app, schedule local notifications, and restore your reminders after device restart.

Crash reporting

The app uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and technical diagnostics, such as stack traces, app version, Android version, device model, notification permission state, reminder count, and scheduler state. These reports help diagnose crashes and stability issues.

Crash reports do not include reminder text, exported reminder files, imported file contents, account details, advertising identifiers, or precise location data. The app does not require account creation and does not include ads or behavior analytics.

Data sharing

Smart Random Reminder does not send your reminder content to our servers. Crash reports and technical diagnostics are processed by Firebase Crashlytics for app stability monitoring.

Data retention and deletion

Your reminder data stays on your device until you edit or delete it in the app, uninstall the app, or remove any exported backup files you created. Because the app does not keep your reminder data on external servers, deletion is controlled by you on your device and in any files you choose to export.

Permissions

The app requests notification permission to show reminders, boot permission to restore reminder scheduling after your device restarts or the app is updated, and internet access so crash reports can be sent to Firebase Crashlytics.

Security

The app stores reminder data locally on your Android device and does not transmit reminder text to a remote server. Exported files are created only when you request them and are stored in the location you choose.

Exports and backups

If you choose to export reminders, the app writes a text file to the location you select. That file is controlled by you and is not uploaded by the app.
